You want to know even more?

Grab a cuppa and read on.

Transitions and I are on a first-name basis. My life has been full of transitions.  My childhood was boot-camp training for a zeal for helping others in transition. Just one of the many benefits of coaching!

By the time I was in 9th grade, I was starting my tenth school.  Skill of making new friends?  Check! As an adult (-ish) I switched university majors four times. I worked in radio, the tech industry, architecture, computer programming, and as a math teacher. I moved from home in the U.S. to live in China, Saudi Arabia (yeah that was an interesting 5 years), Singapore, and the Dominican Republic.

I slogged through others’ life visions of success wondering why my life felt more like trudging through the mud in flip flops.

I chose both of my degrees because I was told I would make money.  Right on! Money = success, right?

I got married because my mom, who loves and adores me, (just in case Mom is reading this) told me I should.  I became a math teacher because I was told I was good at it, not because I dreamed of a world where everyone could accurately graph inequalities.

It seemed I had arrived “successfully” to adulthood.  I had my family duck, my career duck, my house duck, my social life duck, all lined up in a neat little un-fun, un-me, ducky row.  Turns out, I don’t even like ducks.

My adversity to quacking fowl led to many transitions in adulthood.  Career transition?  Check. Check again and just for good measure, check again.   Divorce transition?  Yep, been there, survived, and then thrived.  Relocation Transition?  Yes x 36.  Maybe not 36, but I keep expecting Guinness World Records to call any day now.

Along this journey, that could easily be turned into an award-winning reality tv show,  I learned how to

keep the juiciest of what I was leaving behind, and embrace the opportunities of the new,

but I was still seeking that place where I could show up fully as myself and authentically rock on with my bad self. By rock on, I mean, be me, get paid well to be me, be admired for being me, and basically nail my success vision.

Here I am today, superhero cape on, combining my skills of making things happen, my experience of a butt-ton of transitions,  my strength of connecting with people, and my desire to help others.  I know what it takes to transition from the life-sucking trap of doing all the things you are told you “should” do, to harnessing your personal power - a superhero cape and all the matching accessories included. Admit it.  Somewhere inside, you KNOW you can totally blow the roof off this transition and do something big!

Here’s the lowdown:

Transitions are the nudge To becoming your most badass self.

That nudge though often feels more like a shove as transitions are equal parts alarming fear and pure excitement.

Whether you are seeking to transition to a career and life that reflects your own vision of success or life has presented you with a transition you did not expect, let’s co-create steps that leverage your unique skills, experiences, and strengths so you can fully step into your most needed, valued, powerful version of yourself.

Any change hurls you into the unknown.  The unknown is freakin' scary.  And, that's why I am here.

Purposeful transitions, as a response to change, lead to all sorts of unimaginable awesomeness!
